What can I expect after I am enrolled?
Following your initial enrollment, you will receive a new member kit at your home address that will contain a unique member identification number and a link to the ARAG member portal to get you started. The kit will include a welcome letter, two identification cards, and a brochure/guide with information on how to register and set up your account.
If you were previously an ARAG plan member who is re-enrolling, you will use the same member ID when you first enrolled, and do not need to create a new account. If you haven’t created an account:

If you have difficulty connecting with a network attorney, contact ARAG for help to receive full plan benefits on covered matters. You also have the flexibility to use a non-network attorney and get reimbursed for covered services according to the indemnity benefits under your legal plan.

The plan covers most personal legal services. The following matters are excluded from coverage:
Pre-existing matters: If you have already hired the services of an attorney, a legal action has been filed or any actual or alleged violations of either party's rights has occurred, you are not eligible for paid-in-full coverage. However, as a plan member, you are eligible to receive telephone legal advice for non-excluded matters from a network attorney as well as reduced fee benefits for in-office legal services of at least 25 percent off their normal rate.
